Ok enough has been written about SMS and Ala’s functionality around that. Lets talk about IM on mobiles and on the web now.

Since we are platform independent we can embed Ala on all existing IM applications, be it Msn Messenger, Gtalk, Yahoo, Skype etc. The added advantage of the IM platform is that it creates a steady dialogue and is not limited to 180 characters. This increases the range of applications / roles that Ala can play for an end user.

Ala on the web takes convergence across the spectrum. You can have the same data on your mobile through SMS and GPRS on your Instant Messenger (PC Or Mobile) and also on websites.

To help monetise chat we have our Alasense Module which will be intuitive and more importantly unobtrusive in nature. It wont be in your face but AI helps it gauge your demographic / buying pattern etc and then auto suggest extremely relevant data.

very interesting link about where IM currently stands and innovations in this space.

tell me what you guys think.
